Mermaid Tails

1

Hello again! I truly hope you’re all staying safe despite everything that is going on in the world ❀

These are adorable mermaid tails! They are larger-than-mat cut outs used for backdrops. Matching letter blocks that spell “two” for a birthday party.

Both cut outs are 27 inches from top to bottom. They also include the child’s name. The cut out below is spray painted with a dull shimmer gold. I sprayed the entire tail base that is cut from of a standard poster board and then I adhered the different cardstock scales and letters. Since it was spray painted, I was able to cut it out as one whole piece.

This tail below, however, was cut out the same way, but the client wanted a gold mirror finish. The mirror cardstock only came in 8.5×11 so I had to strategically cover the base with the gold foil. Then the cardstock scales were adhered on top of that.

The tails on these letter blocks were Cricut Print-Then-Cuts. I did that so I wouldn’t have to glue such small scales individually. Also, their tail bases are a gold glitter pattern. The letters match the gold foil on the tail.

Love y’all! And I hope y’all love each other 😍 see ya next time!

Oh Deer! Paper Flowers

It’s Friday, it’s Friday!!!

Check out this incredibly pretty deer antler paper flower set! 😍 It’s similar to the popular unicorn set. The white is a shimmery white cardstock. The antlers, ears, and leaves are spray painted gold.

The centers of the left and right flowers is a styrofoam ball that I cut in half. I covered it with decorative pink and white enamel dots.

I love that this is so girly and can be used for a birthday or a babyshower! ❀

How stinking cute and unique is this theme!?!? I love it 😍

I made a paper fan display with spray painted letters. Matching letter blocks spelling out the child’s name. Which is also a cute unique name! Ughhh sooo adorbs!!!

The paper fans are adhered to a standard size foam board. I did that to sturdy the display for hanging.

Have you seen this theme before!?! Tell me what you think πŸ€ͺ

Watch this video to watch me spray paint a few petals before putting it all together. Also in the video you’ll see that I spray painted over the manufacturer labels on the PVC pipes for my backdrop stand πŸ‘

Thanks for visiting! Keep an eye out for the paper flower display that includes these beauties! πŸ’–
