Baby Girl Birthday Banner

Happy Sunday y’all ❀️

I’m sharing the most adorable pink and gold banner for a baby girls 1st birthday! Each pendant measures 4x6in. I used full size craft foam for sturdy dimension. The dimensional bows at each end have loops behind them for hanging.

I love how this turned out!!! Please enjoy πŸ€— Don’t forget to join my Facebook Page for bonus creations and videos.

Baptism Paper Flower Backdrop & Candles

1

Very happy Sunday folks! I Miss all of your faces ❀️

Below is a video I shared on my Facebook page (I post bonus projects on that feed). I made a backdrop stand out of PVC pipes. It actually worked! #PinterestSuccess πŸ˜†

Here is the end result!!! It all came together perfectly.

The flowers are attached to 3 separate white foam boards. The matte side, not the shiney side! You can’t tell because it all blends in with the white curtains. I did that so the flowers wouldn’t sag from just being pinned with a safety pin. Now they lay flat and don’t tear into the curtain. Which I broke out the sewing machine and sewed a sheer curtain on top of an opaque curtain so I can fit them both over one pipe.

I also decorated and personalized their baptism candles. One 3×8 and one 2×8 candle.

Thanks guys for visiting my page! Don’t forget to like, comment, and share. Visit my FB page for more crafty posts that you might not see here!

I’m leaving you with this awesome picture of the Mariachi band with the flowers in the background ❀️ Blessed Sunday!

Happiest of Saturdays to everyone! I hope everyone had an awesome food & family filled Thanksgiving ❀️ I’m 6 hours south from home visiting family. But, I didn’t forget about you guys!

I’ve got another themed birthday party for you. With a video! I love this colorful Mexican Cantina theme. I made a set of bright paper flowers for the dessert table backdrop.

Beauty & My Beast

Happy Saturday friends! I love today’s project πŸ€— there’s a video to enjoy!

It was an outdoor Beauty & The Beast themed birthday party for my God-daughter. I made a cake table decoration and a photo frame.

I used a yellow trifold display board. I printed images on cardstock, colored them in with Copics and Sharpies, and fussy cut them. I freehanded and painted in the “Be Our Guest”. These are my first paper roses! I love them.

The photo frame is also cut from a red trifold display board. Colored another set of images and made a small flower to go along with the theme. The letters are also fussy cut. The handsome model is my husband, Jerry ❀️

Please enjoy this awesome clip I’ve put together. The photo frames are gaining popularity. Please share any photo frames that you’ve made! See you next Saturday 😘

Merry Christmas!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!!! It’s been a while since I’ve posted on this creative space πŸ˜’ but
I’d like to share the fireplace and chimney I created for my work desk … This isn’t my original idea, I pulled it from Pinterest. I hand cut it from copy paper boxes! I changed the computer background to a fireplace and removed any screensaver.
I pulled this together over 2 very late nights and felt like giving up a few times lol but I successfully completed it. πŸ™Œ Love and miss everyone here, hope to see you again in 2016!

Goody Bags

0

My sweet friends! I’ve missed you, but I’ve been crazy busy making these super cute goody bags for my God Daughter’s 5th birthday party. They’re not too elaborate because, after all, they are goody bags that young kids will likely destroy or throw away LOL but they’re still cute enough to pine over πŸ™‚
Each scalloped piece, each paper rosette, each center piece is different from the other. That was very difficult for 25 bags! I even hand stamped or embossed backgrounds on some of the scallops. Each flag banner has her stamped name on it. Of course, everything is hot glued together. CLICK to enlarge the main images so you can really see the details.

Creative Baptism

0

I skipped Wednesday, I know, but I grossly underestimated how exhausted I’d be after a day and a half of babysitting a set of 3 year old triplets LOL. My niece and nephews are visiting for a few days and even though I’m tired, I’m enjoying every moment!

Today’s post is my God Daughter’s baptism in September 2013. I have detailed supply lists so if you have questions, please ask. I made 90 handmade invitations, 30 topiary centerpieces, 10 paper cross centerpieces, and 75 favor tags.

I hand cut each invitation and vellum piece with the party information printed on it. Embossed the white cardstock with varying embossing plates.

The paper carnations are ordered from Silk Flowers Factory and hot glued in place because I did not want them moving while in the envelope. The pearl accents on the collar are individually placed with Inkssentials White Enamel.

The silk flowers on the Styrofoam ball are from Dollar Tree. I traveled to every Dollar Tree in a 20 mile radius to find this box full. Each topiary required 13 individual flower blossoms and there are 5 blossoms per bouquet for $1. I also purchased the Styrofoam pot inserts from Dollar Tree and cut them down for the perfect fit. I hot glued everything with a high temp gun.

I completely forgot to take a picture in my craft room before the venue. These crosses are created with a sturdy white pre-embossed cardstock from The Paper Studio Blanc Boutique Pearl Finish pack. There are 10 different embossed designs in each pack. I hand cut 2 shapes to make one cross. Tucked inside is purple tissue paper and a small rice bag tying down 3 white pearl balloons. I’m kicking myself for not having taken a before picture 😦

The party favors are oober cute cross key-chains from Wrap With Us. I threw them in a basket and printed out the sign to frame it. This was posted at the exit so everyone could grab one as they left the event. Each tag had my God Daughter’s name, the event date, and thanking the recipient for joining us on such a special day.

Here you can see why we chose to do a small topiary, because the majority of the tables are small round club tables with four stools per table. The topiary doesn’t take needed tabletop space. They’re a small accent to what is already going on in a busy room. Not seen in these photos are the 4 large flat screens looping 30 pictures of my God Daughter from birth to today.

On the opposite side of the room are lounge seating with acrylic light tables. Yes, the tables lit up and slowly transitioned into different colors. To accent this open space we chose the cross and balloons.

I truly hope you enjoyed this post. The baptism reception was a success and out of 30 topiary centerpieces I only retrieved 10 at the end of the night LOL. I hope they’re being beautifully displayed on someone’s mantle or desk ❀ it was pain staking to complete this project, but as always the result is incredibly satisfying.
