Mermaid Tails

1

Hello again! I truly hope you’re all staying safe despite everything that is going on in the world ❤

These are adorable mermaid tails! They are larger-than-mat cut outs used for backdrops. Matching letter blocks that spell “two” for a birthday party.

Both cut outs are 27 inches from top to bottom. They also include the child’s name. The cut out below is spray painted with a dull shimmer gold. I sprayed the entire tail base that is cut from of a standard poster board and then I adhered the different cardstock scales and letters. Since it was spray painted, I was able to cut it out as one whole piece.

This tail below, however, was cut out the same way, but the client wanted a gold mirror finish. The mirror cardstock only came in 8.5×11 so I had to strategically cover the base with the gold foil. Then the cardstock scales were adhered on top of that.

The tails on these letter blocks were Cricut Print-Then-Cuts. I did that so I wouldn’t have to glue such small scales individually. Also, their tail bases are a gold glitter pattern. The letters match the gold foil on the tail.

Love y’all! And I hope y’all love each other 😍 see ya next time!

Boss Baby

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted. I moved 6 hours away to Southern Illinois and I’ve got my craft studio fully up and running!

This order was for a babyshower, a bit over a year ago. The Boss Baby images came from an Etsy vendor.

The invitation was printed on 65lb cardstock. The pink envelopes all had a matching Boss Baby sticker.

I also made matching boxes. Down the left side it spells “boss”, down the middle of spells the baby’s name “Zaylani”, and down the right side it spells “baby”. Between the letters are the different Boss Baby images.

I made ribbon bows to put in her hair instead of flat paper bows.

This is a 22 inch tall cut out for the photo backdrop. The girl is pieced together. Her head is larger than her body so I cut each hair puff and her face individually.

This is my 12×12 Cricut mat showing how I cut the girl’s face by itself. If you break down any image you can easily piece them together to create larger-than-mat cut outs.

BONUS: A year after the babyshower I was asked to make the baby’s 1st birthday invitation. It’s a LOL Surprise! theme. Super cute! Also printed on 65lb cardstock with matching envelopes.

Super happy with this cute project. I loved the boxes the most! 😍 Hope you enjoyed this fun share. See you soon!

Teddy Bear Alphabet Blocks

Hello crafters! 👋 I’m sharing these super cute alphabet blocks and teddy bear cut out I made for a baby shower backdrop. The boxes are 14x14x14 and gift wrapped to spell out BABY. I made a 25 inch poster cut out to hang in a dessert table backdrop.

I cut out the black outline with my #Cricut and adhered it onto a white poster board and cut all around the image. The blue pieces fit right into place like a puzzle piece.

Thank you, everyone, for taking a look at this cute teddy bear set. Have an awesome day! ❤

A sweet BABY GIRL!

Hello! It’s been a long time folks.

I wanted to share my newest project. I helped a lovely coworker with her first baby shower. She’s having a girl that she has named Leahna ❤️

I made large paper flowers, a paper fan display, and a guest book. She and another co-worker handmade the centerpieces , flag banner, and invitations. It was gorgeous!

The flowers were supposed to be gathered on a curtain like this, but the stand didn’t work out. So, they decided to spread them out along the focus wall.

I used Kathy Orta’s Hidden Hinge Binding System for this album. I used Tyvek IN the page hinges and in the cover hinges for a strong hold against tearing. There are 8 double sided pages, 8 double sided inserts (not pictured, but you can see them peeking through the half circle punch. They are just baby themed patterned paper with 3 guests cards per side), 86 total guest tags.

I’m just happy to be a part of something sooo cute! Congratulations to the new parents 👣👶
